Job Title: Climate Finance Analyst – Australia

Location:   Australia and APAC based projects (remote flexibility, regional collaboration)

Reporting to:  Senior Project Lead or Director of Delivery

About the role
At Nyawi Sustainability Consulting, we believe finance is a powerful tool for environmental transformation. As our Climate Finance Analyst, you’ll help clients unlock capital for carbon reduction, renewables, and nature-based solutions. You’ll analyse funding pathways, develop models, and support investment strategies that enable decarbonisation at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate climate finance mechanisms and funding opportunities

• Model business cases for carbon, renewable, and ESG projects

• Prepare investor-grade reports and presentations

• Support grant applications and blended finance initiatives

• Work closely with our consultants to integrate finance into strategic sustainability roadmaps

Candidate requirements

• Experience in finance, climate investment, or sustainability economics

• Strong modelling and analytical skills

• Clear communicator able to distil complexity into clarity

• Passionate about driving meaningful climate impact through financial systems
